Today I am bringing you the ultimate tip!  This tip has the power not only to change your relationships, but everything in your life that needs changing.

Here it is: God is the solution for every difficulty and problem we face in life. He is the source of our strength.

He wants us to trust Him completely. He wants us to turn to Him for the solutions to our problems and difficulties in life.

He is our healer and comforter and desires to heal us of our old emotional wounds and memories.

He wants us to be completely dependent upon Him. There is no substitute for trust in God.

Where do you turn for help? Are you depending on someone or something besides the Lord?

Do you find, as I often do, that Monday mornings tend to leave me feeling like I need an extra dose of God’s peace and reassurance? There are fresh to-do lists to tackle, including ones that didn’t get completed last week, and it’s a challenge to figure out how to accomplish it all in the week in front of me.

I often rely on these verses from Philippians 4, especially in The Message version of the Bible, and the thought of “shaping” our worries into prayers, even into praise! When you think about it, we have a choice to make, not only on Monday, but every day.

Do we trust the Lord that everything will come together for good? Do we allow ourselves to feel His peace settle down on us, or are we determined to hold onto our worries and to fret?

Our Heavenly Father wants to replace the worry in our life with the peace that only He can bring.

Are you up for choosing to let Him take over and shape your worries into prayer and praise?

I love seaglass!

It reflects light so beautifully.

It is a challenge, but ultimately rewarding when you find those colorful pieces among the little rocks and pebbles.

The jagged edges of the ones we choose have been smoothed to perfection.

Some of those pieces are better thrown back into the ocean for more polishing.

Choice seaglass requires work similar to that which the Lord does in shaping those willing to put their trust in Him.

He works on our brokenness and makes it beautiful as he smooths out our rough edges.

We will be perfect one day when we are with Him. For now, those of us who put our trust in Him are works in progress. He’s working on our broken condition and shaping us to reflect His light and beauty.

Are you letting the Lord polish your rough edges?

Trust is a primary ingredient in establishing a healthy relationship! A solid foundation is needed to produce trust. The Bible tells us that Christ is our spiritual rock (1 Corinthians 10:4). As believers, we are able to build a rock-solid relationship with Him (Matthew 7:24-25). As we build our relationship with the Lord, we are empowered to build healthy relationships with family and friends.

If we don’t accept God’s word that Christ is our foundational rock, we allow doubt to become our enemy! Doubt presents serious roadblocks to building healthy relationships, as well as undermining our spiritual growth. Doubt takes root when we rely on our feelings and experiences, instead of trusting in Christ to direct our path.

Are you putting your trust in Christ and building on the Rock?

Just as trust is an essential ingredient in every healthy relationship, it is better described as critically true in our relationship with the Lord. That trust includes a belief in what God says in His Word and a belief in His great power.

Actually, we need to trust the Lord with everything in our lives, which includes putting our trust in His love for us. As we consciously choose each day to trust Him, we’ll become aware that we are growing closer in our relationship to Him.

Doubt is our enemy! Doubt hinders healthy relationships and obstructs our spiritual growth. Doubt often takes root when we tend to rely on our feelings and experiences, instead of what we know, or should know, to be true. Feelings come and go. If we base our relationships on our feelings then the relationship will likely be doomed.

Can you consider what steps you may be able to take today to build trust?

This got my attention today and I just had to share it with you.

One of the best tips that I can offer to a client having difficulty with a relationship is to let go and let God

Whether the relationship is old or new or involves a person we love, letting go and trusting God often presents a perplexing challenge. A test of our faith is required, especially when the difficulty involves a person that we love, to surrender the difficulty into His care, to trust Him with the problem and to let go.

I have faced this challenge numerous times. Over the years, the Lord has either allowed, or caused, the removal of a relationship with someone who I thought would become my partner in life. The reason has not always been clear, but the lesson has been unmistakably clear!

Trust and Let Go!

Do you have any relationship difficulties that God is calling you to surrender into His hands?

Do your sources for satisfaction often fall short?

Only God can provide real and fulfilling satisfaction.

Only He can be trusted to support us when we’re going through trials, and only He can guide you along a trustworthy path.

God is also able to bear your burdens and sustain you in your every need. (Psalm 55:22)

He asks only that you call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:18) and trust in Him to supply all of your needs through Christ Jesus. (Proverbs 3:5 and Philippians 4:19)

Lasting satisfaction is the reward for those who know the love of Christ. (Ephesians 3:19)

Have you put your trust, faith, and acceptance in God’s offer of His ultimate gift that puts you in a relationship with Him and assurance of receiving all of the above benefits? (Romans 10:9-10)

Happy Monday!

Have you been knocked down by the flu or Covid? My son and I both had a bad flu this winter.

It’s easy to get discouraged when you’re not able to be productive, read, write, or even keep up on normal, everyday tasks like the dishes and laundry. Everything seems overwhelming!

Feeling down and discouraged highlights recognizing my need to trust the Lord in His assurance that He will see me through. It emphasizes the fact that depending on the Lord to keep my mind set on His strength is crucial. In His strength I can choose JOY! It’s a great way to fight the enemy and win.

When we’re in the trenches, we need to refuse to give in to discouragement and despair and instead, focus on the Lord and all of the reasons He provides for us to be joyful! We can always trust God’s provisions and love for us even in our toughest moments.

Do you need to be lifted up out of the trenches?

Joshua’s courage reflected his belief and trust in God.

We all need that same courage, especially at this time in history.

But, as with Joshua, our courage must be based on our assurance that our belief reflects truth disclosed to us by God. He assured Joshua that knowing and acting on His word would make Joshua “strong and of good courage”.

Even if you are feeling weak and vulnerable, you can act with strength because your belief and knowledge acquired from God’s word puts Him squarely on your side.

Are you resting in the confidence that He is with you and for you?

The word “let” tells us that something is required of us to experience His peace. Scripture tells us that what is required is belief. In Greek, the language of early Bible manuscripts, “belief” is defined as placing absolute confidence and trust in. Without that confidence and trust, Christ, and His peace, elude us.

Belief, (trust and faith), in Christ opens the door for union with Him and the gift of His peace. You can experience calm and the comfort of remaining untroubled despite the storms and trials which frequent all of our lives.

The peace of Christ is a gift as well as a promise of God to all who trust in Him.

Will you take hold of it?
