The most predominate focus of my coaching practice centers on helping clients recognize what is needed to ensure that entering into, and maintaining, relationships with others will be healthy and lasting.

Coaching involves a relationship in itself, the forming of a partnership with a common goal – to improve the client’s existing relationships and equipping the client to cultivate new relationships that will be healthy and enjoyable.

My passion for helping others, and emphasizing relationships, is fueled by the love that God has shown toward me and my relationship with Him. His desire to share His unfathomable love and grace encourage me to share that love with others and to help clients achieve God-given goals. When God’s love touches and heals us, we are placed on a path toward understanding and navigating our way to the establishing of healthy and lasting relationships.

Is there a relationship in your life that you could use some help with? Send me a message and we can schedule a free thirty-minute call to talk about a partnership.

Passion! The Lord places it deep within us!

That is what drives me. I am passionate about coaching!

One reason I work so hard is because of my passion for helping my clients. Nothing makes me happier than to know that God is using me to help my clients grow spiritually, heal from past hurts, have healthy relationships, and move forward.

We all have passions that the Lord created in us. Coaching can draw this passion out.

What is your passion?

On a trip to Washington D.C. with my son, I took this picture shortly after a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.

In the midst of a quiet time, the picture struck me as a unique visual accompaniment to my reflections on the sacrifice that so many made on our behalf to ensure the freedom that we tend to take for granted as a natural right.

My reflections also led me to a quote by General George S. Patton: “It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God such men lived.”

How much more should these sacrifices remind us of the gift that God provides to all who are willing to recognize Jesus’ willingness to give up His life for us and the opportunity that we have to accept His invitation to enjoy true freedom and eternal life with Him?

I used to read a devotion book every night with my son titled “Jesus Calling”, authored by Sarah Young. One of those devotions really caught my attention because it was so powerful. It centers on God’s love for each of us. Written as though spoken by Jesus, it reads:

“Be still in the Light of My Presence while I communicate Love to you. There is no force in the universe as powerful as My Love…If you were to experience that now, you would be overwhelmed to the point of feeling crushed…For now, the knowledge of my loving Presence is sufficient to carry you through each day.”

In my coaching practice I often emphasize the importance of maintaining healthy relationships. Assuring healthy relationships with others begins with an understanding of the extent of God’s love for each of us. He models His love in His Son who demonstrated His love for us on the cross. If you haven’t experienced His love for yourself and want to experience it, you can begin by praying and by reading His Word and asking the Lord to reveal it to you.

If you’re having any issues with relationships, or have other concerns with difficult life issues, and would like some help, just send me a message. I would be happy to talk with you.

Remember that God is always wanting to communicate with you, especially with His message of love. Are you learning to take the time to be still and listen for God’s messages?

Are you feeling discouraged or overwhelmed? Do you feel stuck in a difficult situation and can’t see a way out? Maybe it feels like there’s a mountain standing in your way? You need to know that there is reason for hope!

At times like these, I remind myself that God has promised that He has good plans for me! His plans often come to light when I set aside some time to saturate myself in His Word.

The word hope in scriptural passages, like the one in the picture, might be better expressed as a confident expectation.

Hope provides us with a foundation! Without hope, we become lost and allow the trials and troubles of this life to wear us down. We lose our motivation to live the life that God would have us live – a spiritually abundant life!

God gives us access to “a living hope” through the resurrection of Jesus (1 Peter 1:3). As scripture assures us, hope is “a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul” (Hebrews 6:19).

Have you asked God to provide you with the hope that He promises?

Our Father allows a variety of storms in our lives, some for reasons we can discern and others for reasons that only He knows. He has disclosed to me that certain storms have provided me with understanding and insight that I can pass along to help others through similar storms.

In my coaching, I listen, encourage and motivate.  A coach works as a guide, coming alongside clients and directing them along a path designed to help them reach their goals and dreams. I always include guidance with encouragement in spiritual growth in their relationship with God, shining a light on the unique path that the Lord is creating for them through their own storms.

Can you use some extra encouragement and guidance along your path?

I love seaglass!

It reflects light so beautifully.

It is a challenge, but ultimately rewarding when you find those colorful pieces among the little rocks and pebbles.

The jagged edges of the ones we choose have been smoothed to perfection.

Some of those pieces are better thrown back into the ocean for more polishing.

Choice seaglass requires work similar to that which the Lord does in shaping those willing to put their trust in Him.

He works on our brokenness and makes it beautiful as he smooths out our rough edges.

We will be perfect one day when we are with Him. For now, those of us who put our trust in Him are works in progress. He’s working on our broken condition and shaping us to reflect His light and beauty.

Are you letting the Lord polish your rough edges?

My thoughts are on the message of Easter and our celebration of “Resurrection Day”!

Is there a day more worthy of celebration?

Is there a person more worthy of celebrating than Jesus?

The significance of Easter is not just that death was defeated once, but that we have been given the opportunity to trust in the defeat of death for ourselves!

There is no death for those of us who have put their trust in the Lord as believers in the gospel truth of what Jesus did for us on the cross.

Death does not have the last word! Jesus’ willingness to endure the cross, and suffer an agonizing death, paved the way for us to experience victory over death!

Is there any love so relentless as His?

Through Christ’s suffering we have victory. “Victory in Jesus” is a well known Christian phrase and hymn. The victory reflects the fact of the healing of His wounds and His resurrection from death, all of which He suffered to clear a path for each of us who put our trust in Him to bring us into His kingdom.

How can we not honor the Lamb who suffered in our place and was slain for us? Every day, but especially on Easter (Resurrection Day), we should concentrate on the indescribable truth that it is through His sacrifice that we are able to be healed and pardoned for our sinful ways.

Whatever the extent or nature of our suffering, past, present or future, Jesus has given Himself as a victory for our healing and survival beyond death itself in His invitation to live with Him in eternal life.

Each of us is offered the opportunity for our suffering to be healed if we look to Him. This can be difficult when in the darkness of suffering, but if we focus on, and remember, the purpose in His suffering, there are great rewards. Our suffering and trials will likely test the strength and genuineness of our faith, but will result in praise, glory and honor for what Christ has done.

As promised in the hymn “The Old Rugged Cross”, as believers, the day will come when we will exchange all of our suffering for a crown.

Are you up for giving thanks for His suffering, even His death, for you?

I find that church is an ideal place for the creation and enjoyment of fellowship. Being in the company of other believers is a special experience! I have the opportunity to connect with my church family, as well as with visitors, and to make new friends, too. I’m usually curious about what is going on in the lives of my friends and appreciate sharing with others who have prayer requests as well as reports of praise. As a single Mom and ‘solopreneur’, church fellowship presents an especially significant time for me. It frequently provides the gracious receipt of face-to-face support as well as opportunities to offer support to others who need it. Being in the company of fellow believers in Christ is, by itself, an encouragement as are the opportunities to share my beliefs and joy in the Lord with others in need of a spiritual boost.

Sharing with clients experiences of encouragement, that seem to abound in a vibrant church community, is one of my favorite aspects of coaching. It appears that God has gifted many who are drawn to coaching with the gift of encouragement, essentially a love to encourage others and build them up! It’s a privilege to be active in a position designed to provide help to others while also striving to bring glory to God.

Can you use some encouragement? I’d love to help!
