Happy Monday! The weekly race begins! Are you ready?

If we’re going to run, we usually have a goal in mind. I recently read about a premise that life presents two basic, but different, race concepts. One is the worldly version of running on our own ambition and energy. The other is God’s version, spelled out in the Bible, which describes a race that begins when we surrender our heart and will to Jesus and keep our eyes and attention on His command to “follow Me”. This is a race we are equipped to win because we can depend on the strength, energy and perseverance that Jesus freely provides.
